Jun 07, 2020 · I'm looking to confirm what ratio of a concrete mix & what quantities of cement & ballast to buy. Happy to take ideas & tips too, 1st time laying a concrete base. I'm planning to lay a concrete slab for a summerhouse. Summerhouse is 8'x10', & concrete base needs to be 3" wider on 4 sides & 3"+ thick, summerhouse company told me this.
